Sept. 11th – 10 Years Later
I wish we will never forget how we felt that day…
I wish we will always remember those lost that day…
I wish we would stop fighting with each other…
I wish our soldiers would stop dying…
I wish we could remember we need each other to grow and
prosper…
I wish we will always be strong and never let us be attacked
on our soil again…
I wish we could remember we ARE Americans…

that is beautiful! I wrote a poem shortly after 9-11-01 that was published in our school lit magazine that year and this reminded me of it. Very powerful and a good reminder!
